John S. Lee, M.D., CCFP, FCFP

Dr. Lee has been practicing family medicine in the Durham Region for over 20 years.  Dr. Lee earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine.  Dr. Lee completed his post- graduate training thru the University of Toronto and has completed his fellowship in Family Practice.

Manjinder S. Randhawa, M.D., MCFP, Dip. Sport Med.

Dr. Randhawa earned his medical degree at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine and completed his post- graduate training through the University of Toronto and McGill University Faculty of Medicine.  Dr. Randhawa also has a Diploma in Sport Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM).  Dr. Randhawa has been practicing family medicine in the Durham Region for over 20 years and has a special interest in sport related injuries and concussions. 

Katherine Lee Sang, M.D.

Dr. Lee Sang has been serving the medical needs of the Durham community for over 25 years.  Dr Kathy earned her medical degree from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario and her residency training at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario. 

Vinod Jauhari, M.D., CCFP

Dr. Jauhari graduated from Dr. S. N. Medical College and practiced as an OB-Gyn for many years before becoming recertified in family medicine.  Dr. Jauhari earned her board certification in family practice through the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine.  She has been a practicing family physician for over 10 years.

NOTE:  Patients are responsible for paying for services not covered by OHIP.  These can include such services as Orthotic inserts or shoes, Driver’s Physicals, TB tests (if not medically indicated), etc.  Such services will require cash payment.
OHIP: A valid provincial health card must be presented at each and every visit.  We do accept health cards from all Canadian provinces (except Quebec).  Cash Fees: If a valid health card can not be presented at the time of your visit, a refundable $40 cash fee will need to be collected.  In order to qualify for a refund, please provide valid health card information within 30 days.   Once the valid health card information is processed and the Ministry of Health authorizes coverage for the visit, the patient will be advised and a refund will be available for pick up. Zero Tolerance Policy: Zero Tolerance Policy for Abusive or Aggressive Behavior.  At the North Whitby Medical Centre we strive to maintain a safe environment for all.  Any form of verbal or physical abuse towards patients, staff or doctors is completely unacceptable.  Please note: any aggressive or abusive behaviour can result in immediate removal from the premises and possible permanent discharge from the clinic.   No Show Policy:  Patients are expected to call to cancel any booked appointments they do not plan to attend so that other patients can be accommodated.  Habitually missing booked  appointments may result in the patient no longer being allowed to book future appointments and possible discharge from the Family Health Group.  Please note patients discharged from the Family Health Group are still allowed to use the Walk-in/Urgent care Clinics which operate continuously during business hours. Walk-In/Urgent Care Clinic:  All patients are welcome to utilize our urgent care clinic.  No appointment is necessary for walk in patients as this clinic runs on a first come, first serve basis.  Please note that exceptions may arise due to emergent situations.  Hours: We are open for business during the posted business hours however, the walk-in/urgent care clinic will stop registering patients for walk in once all the walk in slots for the day have been assigned.  We thank you in advance for your understanding. No Photography or Videography: No photos or videos are allowed on the premises.  Due to privacy laws, recordings of any type are not allowed in any public or private areas of the North Whitby Medical Centre. Open 7 days a week including most STAT holidays:  Closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day Prescriptions Repeats:  As a courtesy to our rostered patients, prescription repeats can be requested via fax through your pharmacy.  Please note it may take up to a week to get the faxed repeat requests processed and authorization is not guaranteed.  If you need your medication sooner, we suggest you book an appointment with your family doctor or use our walk-in/urgent care clinic.  NOTE:  Narcotics will not be prescribed to walk in patients. Go to your nearest hospital emergency room or call '911' for: o Breaks and major sprains o Chest pains and/or breathing complications o Head injuries o Severe allergic reactions o Severe drug reactions o Other critical care situations
